It’s all about the kitchen, especially when you’re working with small square footage. These plans are all less than 2,000 square feet but feature open island kitchens with lots of counter space and casual seating.
Good Flow
A snack-bar island opens to the great room in this attractive design. The great room in turn flows into the dining area, and two sets of double doors open to the side property. The private location of the powder bath near the master suite lends privacy. Two bedrooms share a full bath upstairs. And, at just 33 feet wide, it’s perfect for a narrow lot. An angled snack bar serves the eating nook and living room, which shares a two-sided fireplace with the dining room. Another island in the center of the kitchen gives even more prep room, and a walk-in pantry stores groceries. Providing a lovely focal point both inside and out, a large arched window sends light cascading into the great room. Public rooms run through the center of this home.
