How to Install Wood Grain Porcelain Tile?

The woodgrain tile paving methods and precautions:
Wood grain tile is a woodgrain pattern decoration materials. Its lifelike texture, revealing the natural earthy colors, but also has the advantages of wear, no fading and easy care It is a new green building materials . Here let us learn some tips of paving process.
1, Determine Design. There are many different ways to pave the tiles. Before paving, you should confirm the design with the designer.                                                                                                                                                                                                                        2, leveling. Make sure the floor or wall is plane before paving. Remove the heave thing and fill the concave area with semi-wet cement.
3, Line. Line the floor, then pave according to the lines to make sure the tiles are paving strightly enough.
4, Depart the Tiles. Depart the floor tile, wall tile and border tiles, so that to avoid mix paving by mistake.
5, Wet the Tiles. Wood grain tiles  are the same with the polished tiles, antique tiles. They need to be put into the water to make sure that they are wet enough before paving. So that they can  fix to the floor tight. The water is just have to be common water, use tap water. but not muddy water or dirty water, oil water. Soaking time don’t need to be too long, (Water must soak through tiles before paving)
6 Mixing mortar. The cement and sand should be mixed in a 1:2 ratio, should use numerals below 200 cement, numeral too high will cause a serious crack on the tiles.
7, coated mortar. Remove the soaked wood grain tiles, dry water stains with a rag on the surface. Coat the mortar evenly on the back of the tile.  mortar thickness of 2-3 cm, then the wood grain tiles laid to floor or wall. Then hit the tiles surface gently with a wooden hammer. Use the  rag clean the mortar on the edge.
8 Paving. Pay attention to the grain of the tiles.  The gap of the tiles is about 1mm to 3mm, depending on how you want it look.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         9, Recondition the tiles. Recondition the tiles before the mortar dry.  Use eyes to measure if there is any tiles not paved well. If necessary,  re-pave the tiles.
10, Grounting. grount the gaps after the cement dry.
