Installation Instructions to Wall Tiles

Pre-treatments
1 Before unpacked, please pay attention to the description, rates, specifications, working sizes and color code of the products marked on the package. Sorting the products by the same marks. Make sure not to mix around when processing.
2 To coat the grout its thickness 3-5mm equally in the basic layer of the wall and smooth the surface.
Processing
1 To clean and water in the basic layer. In summer, please water the basic layer one day ahead and to make water absorbed completely.
2 To install the tile from the up corner to the down normally refer to the marked line with the slot.
3 To coat the grout its thickness 3-5mm equally on the back of wall tiles, then press tiles directly and firmly in place, pat slightly until they get good contacted.
4 In the event of less grout on the back of wall tiles, spackle from the seam. Make sure the grout lines, and then go on installation.
5 Clean out the excess mortar around the grout lines, usually depend on how dry the mortar is when all the tiles have been installed (please do it gently),then clean the tiles again.
6 For the paper adhesive tiles. Please tear apart the adhesive paper which has been moist for 5-10 minutes, after the tiles has been installed in wall in 20-30 minutes ,
Grouting
1 Grouting is needed after all the tiles have been installed, normally depend on how dry the mortar is, Strongly suggest to adopt the “feeding seams” method for some notched surface tiles like volcanic style tiles .
2 Before your work, please water the grout lines if needed.
3 Fill the spaces between the seams, then spackle seams strictly, not loose, higher than the tiles. Otherwise the ooze, turning white or tearing could occur in the seams in the future.
Clearing
1 It depends on the local weather condition, when the mortar between seams concrete to a certain extent, normally within 6 -12 hours, cleaning it by pouring water from up to down.
2 In case of the unclean parts, using the hydrochloric acid (strength 2-3%) then re-clean it with water in case the remains.
3 Using sponge or cloth after water cleaning.
Maintenance
1 Please adopt plastic cloth to avoid the damages caused by sunshine, wind, rain due to out-door construction.
2 Please adopt plastic cloth after the temperatures going up at day, to avoid the frost dry of mortar because the temperatures fall down to 2 degree at night in winter.
3 Avoid too strong vibration and outside force within 7 days after the installation.
