Analysis of European Tile Market Trends.(3/19/2014)

It is reported that , after a stagnant growth and a sharp decline, the 2013 global tile production , consumption and exports showed a growth recovery, especially in the European region the signal is significantly .

From the overall analysis , in 2010 the global production of tiles grew from 8.515 billion square meters in 2009 into 95.12 million square meters, an increase of 11.7 %. From a regional perspective, ceramic tile production is in varying degrees throughout the year.

As in previous years , tile production growth in Asia is strong growth momentum of the global total. By the end of 2012 , Asia accounted for 66.9 percent of total output tile of the global total , while the main tile producing countries in Asia - China , Vietnam, India, and Iran's annual growth rate of over 10 %. It is worth mentioning that the tile production in Vietnam by 2011 increase from 295 million square meters to 375 million square meters , with an annual growth rate of 27.1% growth to become the largest tile production country in the world in 2012 .

Meanwhile, tile consumption in Asia accounted for 64.4% of the global total, its consumer strength is ahead in all regions of the world. The world's fastest growing consumption of ceramic tiles three countries are in Asia : Iraq ( up 44.9 %), Vietnam ( up 37.5 %) and the UAE ( 29.9 percent ) .
