Affected by the European Debt Crisis, Ceramic Tile Exportation encountered severe situation(8/17/2012)

Report from Fujian Ceramic Industry Association shows, in the first half of 2012, the ceramic production of Fujian Province had a steady growth, but affected the European debt crisis, price rise of raw material etc., ceramic industry's situation is not optimistic.

As we have learned, in our province in the first half of the building ceramic accumulative total output value 18.257 billion yuan, increased by 21.9% than; Production of 1.02195 billion square meters, more than 10.2% increase. The MinQingXian, 42 building ceramic enterprise completed the output value 2.43 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 13.4% over the same period, complete production 197 million square meters; Ceramic tile export 5.31 million us dollars, fell by 19.67%. Electrical porcelain export $15.52 million, more than 9.45% increase. Dehua county daily craft ceramic output value 5.138 billion yuan, increased by 19.5% than; Export $72.73 million, negative growth of 18.1%.
