Ceramic enterprises go abroad, "zero tariff" , ASEAN become the new market(6/18/2012)

A serious decline in Foshan ceramic exports to the EU markets of frequent anti-dumping, have increased efforts to open up the markets of Southeast Asia. An area of 7,000 acres of Thailand Foshan Ceramic base under construction, this year will commence and investment. Foshan Ceramic Association, Dai Yimin said that Thailand as production base, to direct radiation to the entire Southeast Asian market, but also as the exporter, to circumvent anti-dumping in Europe and America.

Since last year, South Korea, Argentina, Peru, Brazil and other places have initiated anti-dumping on ceramic.

It is understood that ASEAN is close to China and developed faster in recent years, and has become the one of the top three export markets of the Foshan ceramics. In Vietnam, Malaysia and other countries, has a wealth of ceramic raw materials and human resources, and the cost is relatively cheap, is a rare opportunity for Foshan Ceramic enterprises.

The Commerce Department announced that China and ASEAN in 2010 will be fully completed free trade zone. Since January 1, 2010, between China and the ASEAN six old members - Brunei, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore, more than 90% of the products of a zero tariff. The four new ASEAN members - Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar, to achieve the target of 90% of zero tariff in 2015.
