Foshan Ceramics Export to Poland in January-October delined as 34.2%(12/7/2011)

Foshan Customs latest statistics show that from January to October 2011, affected by anti-dumping measures, Foshan ceramic tile exports to the EU 26.85 million square meters, valued at $ 160 million, the amount of values plunged 24.4% and 20.1%. In the major country of Foshan tile export to the EU, except for exports to Germany rose 1.5% still outside, exported to Italy, Spain and Poland more than 20% decrease, which export to Poland even as high as 34.2%. In addition, exported to the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands has decreased by 16.4%, 15.8%, 6.9%.

The EU has always been an important export market of Foshan ceramic tile, which can be said as positions that can't be lose . This can be seen from a set of data: 2001-2010 decade, the number of Foshan ceramic tile exports to the EU average growth rate of 78.6%, average annual growth rate of export value, up 84.2%. From 2007 to 2009 the EU jumped Foshan's second largest export market for ceramic tiles, still ranked third in 2010. From this can be seen, the EU market for the importance of enterprise in Foshan ceramics is very conspicuous.

From above can be expected, the anti-dumping case of Foshan ceramic tile exports to the EU, as well as to the entire industry of Foshan Ceramics adverse effects will be more serious and lasting. The fourth quarter of this year and the future a long time, Foshan ceramic tile exports to the EU will likely continue to decline.
