Japan's New Generation of Solar Tiles(11/27/2011)

Japan is one of the earlier solar building materials developing countries, which had made the solar tile by using the enamel surface of the tin oxide or indium oxide electrode layer formed, and then composite silicon layer and the transparent protective film. But the after using result showed that, because of this functional ceramic tile was separated the substrate and the electrode layers by a layer of enamel. Power generation rate was not high.

Recently, a Japanese company developed a new generation of solar tiles. This tile has a great development in the production tectonic, which can not only maintain the function of solar power, but also its Electricity is stronger. According to reports, the production is in the green body surface pre-coated with phosphorus silicate glass or borate glass substrate paint, firing, and then in the top layers of organic silicon compound layer, tin oxide or indium oxide quality transparent conductive film and the protective film to prevent reflection, and set with the conductive film to connect the power supply facilities, such as conductive wires or seams. Because of this solar tile is made with no glaze layer, if used in the building wall or roof, solar energy can be made more efficient use of charge-step polarographic method significantly reduces the power consumption of the building.
