2011 New Ceramic Brick Quality Supervision and Implement Standard will be implemented in October 1.(8/30/2011)

Recently, the State Quality Inspection Administration has issued a new "Ceramic Brick Quality Supervision and Implement Standard", and will officially implemented in October 1.

The content of "Ceramic Brick Quality Supervision and Implement Standard" including product classification, the terms and definitions and scale of enterprises, classification, and for inspection, sampling, inspection requirements, judging principle and processing or objection nine aspects. This standard is mainly used in national and provincial quality technology supervision department of the organization ceramic brick product quality supervision and selective examination, other quality technology supervision department of the organization for special circumstances of supervision inspection also can reference.

The new standard is mainly embodied in two aspects: one is the inspection basis, the second is the basis for judging principle. The new judging principle is divided into product quality and identify the quality evaluation, the strength of the product, wear resistance, resistance to glaze, bear the crack, radioactive pollution unqualified for A class seriously unqualified, size, logo and other not qualified for B class more serious unqualified, only the samples of the physical quality and extraction logo which are all qualified quality can be determined as qualified product.

Because ceramic brick belongs to semi-finished products, so quality standard and related inspection standards are aim at the products without lay-up. But color shading great, rugged, crack and other problems tend to be found after lay-up. Expert proposals that consumer can through seeing and hearing to select high quality ceramic tile. "In plenty of natural light or fluorescent lamp, observe ceramic brick by vertical in 1 meter away, you should see obvious nothing glaze defects of the ceramic tiles. Patterns of colors and designs should be fine, clear, no obvious lack of color, disconnection, dislocation and other defects."
