China Stone Material Industry is expected to export a high level of development of large stone(7/1/2011)

In recent years, China has become the world's largest exporter of stone. 1998-2002, China's export volume of stone up from 4.862 million tons to 9.583 million tons; exports increased from $ 711,880,000 to $ 1,142,770,000, an average annual growth rate of 18.5% and 12.6 %. But China's exports are still based on the number of stone-and resource-based, export growth below the world average, the average export unit price of stone is only 119.2 yuan / ton.

1998 to 2002, China stone imports increased to 2.537 million tons from 1.01 million tons; imports increased from $ 249,490,000 $ 442,410,000, an average annual growth rate of 10.9% and 15.4 %, average import price of 174.4 U.S. dollars / ton. Last year, Chinese stone import and export totaled 12.12 million tons, accounting for 44.9% of world trade; Chinese stone import and export amounted to $ 1.585 billion, accounting for 13.2% of world trade.
