Japanese media said that China has resumed exports RareEarth to Japan(11/26/2010)

According to the Japanese media recently reported that the Japanese Minister of Economy and Industry Mr. Zhang Hong said after the cabinet meeting, China has resumed exports of rare earth to Japan, two cargo ships containing rare earth have been left for Japan.

"We have confirmed that the two carriers 22 and 23 this month, left China, to Japan." Mr. Zhang hong says, and hoped that other rare earth exports take place as soon as possible after completion of inspection.

September of this year, Mr. Zhang hong has accused China suspended exports of rare earth metals to Japan's new contract and delivery, and said the Ministry of Commerce has not accepted the new export license applications. Chinese side has repeatedly denied being followed, but still triggered unrest at United States and Europe.

At present, China's rare earth reserves account for 30% of the world, but the trade accounted for 90% of world trade. China, Japan and the United States is one of the biggest buyers of rare earth, accounting for 70% of China's export volume of rare earth.
