Africa builds the Zollverein, China's building material encounter the good opportunity of export again.(6/24/2009)

At the 13th Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa Summit, the Zollverein between Eastern and Southern Africa is formally established. It means the members of Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa will make a collection of a unified tariff from the imported goods.

President Zimbabwe and Mugabe, the chairman of the Common Market of the Eastern and Southern Africa, said, building the Zollverein realizes the dream of the Common Market of Eastern and Southern Africa. From now on, all the members get together as an entirety. It welcome everybody come to invest to this big market in the Eastern and Southern Africa.

Li Qiangmin, the Ambassador of the Chinese Embassy in Zambia and the Special Representative of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa, said, the establishment of Zollverein offers a good opportunity to Chinese enterprise exporting to Africa. Once the products enter one of the countries, they can flow free among the 19 Alliance, this can reduce the tariff and other cost.

Meanwhile, the members of Zollvereins always keep traditional friendship with China, and show their warm welcome to Chinese enterprise on the domestic infrastructure. So it is a unprecedented good chance for Chinese enterprise to export or invest to the members of Zollvereins.

In the big emerging market of Africa, building material industry is the most concerned one. The great capacity of Chinese building material industry is considered well by each government in Africa. Under the condition of the traditional exporting market shrinking, the African emerging market will hand over a olive branch to the building material exporting industry.
