Build materials supermarket promote competitive prices and one-stop-shop.

Since involving a wide variety of goods with high weight, adding the funding, sourcing organizations, and other reasons, the supermarket does not have the operational capacity of the logistics, it needs to rely on suppliers around for the distribution, it will affect the supply of the adequacy of the supermarket and fast service, additional services will have to pay for the costs and part of the benefit, product supply price does not exist naturally competitive, they do not coincide with the parity location. To make up the gaps, Approach of the supermarket is too simple, they do not work out on the marketing innovation efforts, but only require low-cost policies to support the supermarket from suppliers.

The one-stop shot should have been the biggest advantage is the supermarket, but because most of the supermarket are all within the service provider's shopping guide staff, each salesman service its own brand, do not create uniform standards of care; consumers are faced with number of service personnel, much inconvenience, but it might as well store convenient. The current rapid development of traditional building materials market, the same can be achieved one-stop shopping, and the choice of items, rich shopping environment is also better than the supermarket, individual marketing tactics like supermarkets single, but more attractive to consumers.

Supermarket is coming to a turning point, the financial crisis has accelerated the manifestation of their problems. It needs to have a complete change, otherwise, it will only allow suppliers at arm's length.
