Installing Roofing Tile |
Construction can be divided into
two types of day and wet. The difference of the two types is
following: Dry construction: uses hang tile bar and downstream
bar and fix them with stainless snail. The moment for dry
construction: 1. Lie low and bake into unchangeable tile for
example: double tally tile 2. The house is even perfectly and
draw horizontal line 3. House tile need good function of heat
insulation. 4. Unlimited height and the high tile don't affect
construction and design. 5. The price of construction is
high. Wet construction: use cement and sand to fix. The moment
for wet construction: 1. Stand up to bake unchangeable tile for
example traditional tile. 2. The house is not even and can't
draw horizontal line. 3. The house tile is only for decoration
without the function of insulation. 4. Limited height and the
high tile will affect construction and design. 5. The price of
construction is a little bit low.
Double tally tile is
the product with new structure and the tiles are buckled each other
when
construction. After finishing, the
roofing is integrated. Tile requires high level up degree. Otherwise
the tile will not buckle if the tile distorted when construction.
Require high technological automatically equipment to manufacture
professionally resisting firebox lying when producing. While the
common tile is united with joining up and can adjust if distortion
when construction. The requirement for distortion and production
equipment is not high. There is difference in effect, speed,
resisting water, resisting wind and resisting shock as well as
price. This is normal that higher modernization and better quality
and more expensive. The customers can make proper choices according
to their requirement
Instruction book for
dry construction 1> Preparing before construction
(cooperating items for Party A): 1. Waterproof treatment for RC
roof or wood roof 2. Clear reinforcing steel bar sundries in the
roof and whitewash roof. 3. Keep eagle frame, water and
electricity in order to construct conveniently. 4. Keep tunnel to
pile tile and do crane. 2> Construction sequence: 1.
Lofting in landscape orientation: Loft following down and up on
sequence according to available size of tile length from dripping
line in cornice (the lowest point of declined roof) to fastigium
(the highest point of declined roof). And then indicate definite
location with black line. The rest tilesize will be lofted in 3.0cm
to ridgeline in order to meter the length of cutting tile when
installing tile.
2. Lofting in portrait:
Loft by sequence according to available size of tile width from left
to right and indicate definite location with black line.
3. Keep water
way: If roofing slate is complete occlusion then it will not lead to
eliminate hot atmosphere between tile cover and food. When the hot
atmosphere change into vapor it is bad for the lifetime of roofing
materials. Thus we suggest that you must keep proper distance
between tile cover and roof. And except the function of isolating
radiation heat we can use eliminate vapor and rain conveniently. The
way of keeping space is usually to hammer downstream bar. (1)
Fixed materials: fir, willow and wood with embalmment. (2) Size:
1 cun (W) * 3 Fen (T) * 3 inch (L) (3) Fix bar into roof with
steel snail following portrait space between 30-45cm and daub with
waterproof between bar and roof in order to proof water filter in
landscape orientation.
4. Fixed hanging tile
bar; (1) Material: fir, willow and wood with embalmment or use
not-molder materials such as aluminum bar or stainless steel
bar. (2) Size: 1 cun (W) * 5 Fen (T) * 6 inch (L) (3) Loft
hanging tile bar at black line in landscape orientation to fix it
into bar with steel snails.
5. Installing tile: (1)
The first tile in cornice (dipping line) is the best-affected tile
by wind airflow. The common traditional tile will fall off after
wind disaster and lead to make water. Except improving structure for
the double tally tile our company will also suggest to strengthen in
cornice. The suggestion is following: Cornice tile will be
fixed into roof (hammer snail must use stainless snail to fix into
tile bar and the length of snail is not destroying waterproof level)
and fix front end of cornice tile into the structure body. You also
can strengthen fixing cornice tile into roof with concrete slurry
according to sites. Thus the tile will be fixed firmly into
structure surface and structure power of tile. So they will keep out
weather and disaster more efficiently than traditional tiles (such
as concrete tile, S tile and Japanese tile)
(2) There is snail hole obverse of tile and hanging ear back of
tile. You need hang ear on hanging tile bar additionally with
stainless snail. Generally you need 3,4 tile with one stainless
snail at least.
(3) From right to left and from up to down, the tile
is the last tile close to ridge. If the left size is less than one
tile then you must cut tile and connect required tile with ridge
tile at the end. 3> Ending treatment: 1. Border
tile: The left and right sides of roof end with border tile. You
must put certain slurry beside border tile of roof (in order to
paste tile). Firstly, you can put the first tile and then border
tile up to the highest point (roof ridge line). There is snail hole
beside border tile for fixing stainless snail on roof of wood
house.
2. Ridge tile: After finishing roofing tile and border tile,
then you can construct ridge tile. The ridge tile is covered under
roofing tile with color material and slurry for decoration. The two
ends of ridge tile are covered with head up to border tile. In
common, there are some broken pieces as frame in ridge tile and
stainless steel in snail hole in order to strengthen fix.
3. Declined
ridge: In the corner of tile, the outer angle (overt angle) is
called declined ridge. In this place, the tile besides connection
both need cut required shape along declined line and then fill
slurry into structure and tile. Above them, you may install ridge
tile head and ridge tile from down to upper even to the highest
point connecting other tiles.
4. Cullis: In the corer of
tile, the inner angle (lunar angle) is called cullis. The concave of
cullis don??t set up rust golden table-flap or open drain tile as
leading water channel in advance. Then cut tile into required shape
to paste it with slurry. The bareness part of slurry is adjusted
close to tile color in order to decorate.
5. Eave leading water
channel: suggest installing leading water channel in eave in order
to strengthen ability of blocking wind and cutting water.
6. Clean roof:
clean left tile and sundries off roof and tile. 4> The
listing ways are common manners. As for special construction, you
need strengthen or treat with other ways.
Instruction book of wet
construction 1. Prepare before construction (1) Water proof
treatment in roof (2) Without crack in basic level of concrete.
After waterproof treatment, plaster 20-30mm slurry. The level up
degree is up to 2 meters and the plane error is less than
10mm. (3) Keep eagle frame, water and electricity to construct
conveniently. The height of eagle frame is flat with roof cornice
and keeps 200mm distance to cornice. (4) Keep channel in order to
pile sundries and hang tiles. 2. Sequence of construction (1)
Lofting: according to available size 180*180mm of S1 tile draw
assistant design line in landscape orientation and portrait. (2)
Mix slurry: prepare 1:1:4 concrete slurry and the length of slurry
is 20-30mm; the concrete slurry of ridge part can be added twine to
prevent chap. (3) Lay: lay order is from right to left and from
down to upper facing roof. Require laying every tile along line and
the smaller gap of connection is better. 3-1. Lay roof tile: lay
roof requires vertical and horizontal lines in order and upright one
another. The density is identical and pay attention to clean tile to
avoid pollute roof tile. 3-2. Loft cornice: two lines tile in
cornice are fixed with steel snail; the cornice tile is next to
cornice 40-60mm. You should rise 20-30mm at the head of cornice to
strengthen beauty and prevent slide. 3-3. Loft border tile: loft
left and right tile on the wall. You should obligate 60mm from inner
side of wall for lofting main tile or half tile when drawing
line. 3-4. Loft open drain: The main tile lofted up to open drain
and filling slurry fully. The drain width of open drain is
120mm. 3-5. After lofting main tile and then to ridge tile. The
roof ridge required lofting horizontally and straightly. 3-5-1.
Build roof open ridge with red brick and draw level line when
lofting ridge tile. It is good for pulling average line to
construct. 3-5-2. Fill fully at the bottom of ridge tile to
prevent roof ridge from distortion. 3-5-3. Fix 18# copper line
into roof ridge at the head of ridge. 3-5-4. The gap of ridge
tile is filled with materials same color with tile. 3-5-5. The
gap of ridge tile and main tile is filled with concrete slurry fully
and then plasters decorating to proof water. Otherwise you can use
concrete slurry to decorate. 3-6. Loft declined ridge: cut main
tile under the declined ridge close tightly to red brick and the gap
of ridge tile and main tile is filled with concrete slurry fully and
then plasters decorating to proof water. Otherwise you can use
concrete slurry to decorate; fix 18# copper line into roof ridge at
the head of ridge.
